VALIDITY OF TECHNICAL GUIDELINES (TGs) AND HOLDING OF NATIONAL QUALIFIERS (NQs)

All Riders, Members, Parents, Club Owners, State Associations & IA Est/Units,

  • Please refer to EC emails of 04 and 05 March 2025.
  • It has been decided by the EC of the Equestrian Federation of India, that with immediate effect, the technical guidelines (TG) promulgated as of 01 January 2023, will be followed in letter and spirit for conduct of all competitions & events henceforth. The TGs that came into effect from 01 January 2024 onwards, stand suspended forthwith in totality, pending review.
  • Further, as mentioned vide our above emails, the following has been decided about the status of National Qualifiers: -
    • (a) Henceforth, with immediate effect, all National Qualifiers, for all disciplines, shall now continue as per the Technical Guidelines of 01 January 2023.
    • (b) However, whichever rider has qualified as per the current NQs also shall be taken as qualified.
    • (c) Also as a special measure, riders who are unable to qualify/achieve MERs as per 2023 guideline NQs will still be given another chance to participate through elimination rounds at the competition venue of NECs, dates/schedule of eliminations shall be intimated accordingly.
  • Participation entry, the following shall be ensured:-
    • (a) With immediate effect, it shall not be mandatory for the riders to be members of EFI registered Riding Clubs to forward their entries.
    • (b) Riders or their parents who are members of EFI, can forward their entries as individuals directly.
    • (c) Riders/children whose parents are not members of EFI, can send their entries through a EFI registered club or a registered State Associations.
  • All the competitions, hitherto fore, shall continue under the Technical Guidelines as were applicable on 01 Jan 2023.
  • The above are for strict compliance by all concerned. Any deviation from the above directions will be taken as willful defiance of the instructions of the National Federation and action will be initiated against the defaulting parties.
